Job Assignment
We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team. The idea candidate will have a proven track record in managing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction to project closeout.
Team Leadership
Lead and manage on-site construction teams, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Budget And Cost Control
Monitor project budgets and financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
Identify and manage potential cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures.
Quality Assurance
Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Client Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in construction management
Minimum 5 years of experience working on 2+ ground up residential construction projects
Strong organizational, time management and project management skills to effectively track, report and manage multiple projects and priorities where meeting deadlines are critical.
Demonstrate ability to effectively and work in a team environment with a wide variety of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors and business leaders.
Construction estimating a plus
