ADA Forsyth Institute is a globally recognized independent nonprofit research institution dedicated to advancing oral health and addressing various systemic diseases.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Assistant in Dr. Zhou's laboratory at ADA Forsyth. The Zhou lab utilizes diverse mouse models and a 3D organoid culture system, coupled with immunological and cellular biological approaches to exploring strategies to enhance stem/progenitor cell-based tissues and alleviate autoimmune inflammation in the context of Sjogren’s syndrome, a chronic autoimmune disorder.

Desired Skills and Experience:

For the Postdoctoral Position:

  • Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of first-author publications.
  • Hands-on experience in mouse models and cell culture, along with skills in flow cytometry and immunohistochemical staining, are essential.
  • Prior experience in research related to stem cells, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory diseases is advantageous.

For the Research Assistant Position:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience with mouse models and cell culture is required.
  • Previous experience in flow cytometry and immunohistochemical staining is beneficial.
