A critical new R&D Manager for a thin gauge thermoforming company in Alabama is open. The privately held, vertically integrated company is growing rapidly, with a brand new site and new equipment ready to be leveraged. Focusing on bio-resin formulations and compounding, this new R&D Manager will be working hand in hand with the sales team and manufacturing team in developing new products.
Proven experience in compounding is a huge must-have as well as experience in working with bio-plastics and compostable bio-resins (PLA, PBAT, PHA, Cellulous Acetate, additives, etc.). Knowledge of thermoforming and extrusion are high wants. Bachelor's degree required; Master’s and PhD degrees preferred
Must have proven history of compounding and bio-resin experience
Ability to interact and interface at all levels of the organization
