This is a REMOTE role. Client is in Chicago, IL

Role: Warehouse Management (WMS) Technical Lead

Duration: until end of year with extension

Location: Chicago, Il ( REMOTE )

Manager Notes

  • Experience with Korber WMS is plus
  • He needs this person to work closely with the Hexaware lead to translate business needs and work through custom development/integration.
  • Wants someone who:
    • Understands Architecture to guide outsourced group
    • Business Knowledge to translate and make recommendations.
    • Technical Development background
    • Knows the steps of a WMS
    • Work with the WMS PM through Visio
    • Write thorough documentation for customizations.
Job Requirements

  • Must possess prior experience and/or background with Order Management, Inventory Management and Manufacturing Management implementations.
  • Proven expertise in Implementing, Configuring, Testing, Training and Supporting of WMS.
  • Proven experience working with off-shore integration partners for development and delivery.
  • Prior experience with Implementation of the OM, IM and Manufacturing modules.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, to lead the implementation of the project.
  • Experience conducting workshops on gathering/reviewing requirements with clients and end-users.
  • Excellent and demonstrated skills in writing and documentation.
  • Agile experience is desired.

Other Requirements

  • Bachelors' Degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting or related field preferred.
  • 8-10 years of applicable work experience with all modules mentioned above.
  • Expert at implementations and integrations with other systems.
  • Extensive experience with document preparation, including functional design, technical design, system test scripts, data conversion, installation etc.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting needs, evolving priorities, and urgent situations that arise.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from management.
