Reliability Manager

The Reliability Manager must have the ability to lead/coordinate/manage, maintenance, repair, and reliability programs for a large refinery. In this position, he/she will be responsible for managing a team of reliability engineers, maintenance supervisors, and technicians to maintain the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the refinery. The Reliability Manager is responsible for executing the structured work processes and systems necessary to achieve and sustain both the Reliability Engineering and Maintenance Planning missions. This individual will also create a proactive culture by developing people to value asset reliability, planning, and Reliability Excellence. He/she will report directly to the Refinery Manager and work in a team environment with the other department heads.

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years experience in a manufacturing environment – demonstrated leadership and management skills required.

• Expertise in multiple areas of maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and CMMS / EAM / ERP optimization required.
• Experience with the RCM process, failure mode identification, defect analysis, cause and effect analysis, loss elimination, determination of probability, and consequence of failures; along with the use of FMEA’s, RCFA decision logic, and writing tasks to mitigate identified failures required.
• Experience required with belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators and cranes, evaporators, condensers, heat exchangers, piping, pumps, motors, blowers, generators, gearboxes, rotary dryers, kilns, and vacuum pans required.
• BS in Engineering
