Trinity Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time employee to join us as a Release Manager. Candidate should be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.


Remote work is possible as long as you can commit to 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Standard time. Salary depends on geographic location and experience.


Project Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases in collaboration with executive stakeholders, development and operational support vendors.
  • Promote and champion proper change management procedures to all technology teams in the enterprise through careful planning, risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
  • Establish rollback plans and communicate with all teams and stakeholders potentially impacted by release changes.
  • Maintain a standardized software release process using industry recognized ITIL methodology and leveraging ServiceNow ITSM Release Management functionality.
  • Collaboratively define controls and release phase gates for production and non-production environments.
  • Review and control for well-tested software product updates, ensuring releases across production and non-production hybrid-cloud environments maintain stability and eliminate disruptions.
  • Facilitate and manage software release planning meetings and release retrospective sessions with a focus on continuous improvement and consistent policy.
  • Update tracking and reporting in ServiceNow for all planned future releases and completed past releases to ensure accurate status information is available for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interact with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads, Enterprise Architects, DevOps Engineers, Application Teams, and IT Infrastructure Teams.
  • Use an Agile delivery model in order to streamline and improve CI/CD processes and delivery.

Flexibility to manage emergency and off-hours changes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years coordinating releases for multiple delivery teams in an enterprise environment.
  • At least 3 years working with DevOps teams and IT to develop a branch strategy with continuous integration and automation based on industry best practices.
  • At least 5 years overseeing release cadences and aligning solutions, changes, and features to a release calendar.
  • At least 5 years facilitating interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture, and UX.
  • Strong technical skills to validate software release versioning.
  • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps, DevSecOps tools.
  • Direct leadership and facilitation skills to professionally manage, collaborate, and influence multiple teams.
  • Proactive communication to promote and champion initiatives confidently and effectively with multiple departments and vendors.
  • Direct experience administering, configuring, and/or supporting ServiceNow ITSM Release Management.
  • Supporting CI/CD projects using an Agile delivery methodology.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Public Sector experience.
  • Previous health care experience.
