Responsibilities:-
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion using Agile techniques.
Candidates should be able to plan and coordinate multiple releases and manage specific release actions
Identify risks and issues on an ongoing basis
Perform root cause analysis for release-specific issues and identify build and release process improvements
Able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, product managers, and technology partners to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain a direct knowledge of all operations management and technical processes, procedures, quality standards, and status of service delivery for all operations-related activities.
Conducting release readiness reviews, including assisting project managers with ensuring required release documentation is complete and accurate.
Report, monitor, and communicate on release status, including identifying any changes to scope, schedule, cost.
Qualifications:-
Demonstrated experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Must be able to communicate effectively with Testers, Developers, DBAs, Infrastructure teams and Managers.
Familiarity with a modern technology stack to include web application services, cloud infrastructure, mobile applications and some form of legacy technology or applications.
Experience in directly relevant release management roles in technology portfolio and software development, test engineering, planning and operations, and/or related functions.
Proven experience leading and managing complex, cross-organizational SDLC, and releases is critical, preferably in a scale Agile development environment.
Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved portfolio and DevOps processes, templates and tools, and create a wide variety of reporting mechanisms for leadership, stakeholders, and team members.
Highly proficient written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of attention to detail, including the ability to assess, and synthesize large amounts of content and data related to program status, issues, risks, dependencies, and schedules and distill it in crisp clear language appropriate for a variety of audiences including technology and business executives.
Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
An ability to influence without direct authority, as well as demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness, is critical.
