Release Manager

IntePros is looking for a skilled Release Manager to join our team, supporting a local client in the telecommunications sector. In this role, you'll oversee the orchestration of software releases, including firmware, ensuring smooth delivery to customers. Responsibilities include risk management, stakeholder communication, and supporting the Program/Feature Manager in firmware release delivery, alongside day-to-day oversight of firmware development tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Orchestrating software releases, including firmware, to ensure timely and smooth delivery to customers.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with releases to minimize disruption to operations.
• Effectively communicating release schedules and updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Providing support for firmware release delivery and assisting in seamless integration with software releases.
• Overseeing day-to-day tasks of firmware development activities, including feature development, platform integration, and testing.
• Proactively identifying areas for process improvement to enhance release efficiency and quality assurance processes.
  
  
  

What are the top MUST HAVE skill sets (technical) that are required?

• Firmware Development Expertise: Proficiency in firmware development processes, including feature development, platform integration, and testing.
• Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN for managing firmware codebase changes.
• Release Automation Tools: Experience with release automation tools like Jenkins or Bamboo to streamline the deployment process and ensure consistency.

• Knowledge of Firmware Development Tools: Proficiency in tools and technologies commonly used in firmware development, such as IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) like Eclipse or Visual Studio.
