Summary
The Regional Director will lead and provide support to their designated region. This support includes coaching, staying current on industry trends and relaying this information, making suggestions for process efficiencies, and leading the implementation. The primary responsibility of this position is the delivery and achievement of specific KPI’s such as profitability, safety, team engagement and mentorship. The Regional Director will also work collaboratively with the Field Supervision Team, the HR Department, Operations, and other Regional Directors. The descriptions below are representative of, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities for this position.
Five Key Roles Of The Regional Director
Directly manage key Operations Managers, including Senior Project Managers, Directors of Construction, etc.
Provide leadership and help build the culture throughout the respective region
Collaborate and support F&B’s business development strategy in the region
Create annual goals and budgets in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives of operation
Act as the lead F&B Executive in the region, including being an active industry and community participant
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work with field operations management to provide solutions to their equipment and staffing needs
Participate in team-based estimating as it relates to key projects
Provide risk management support to the project teams, including early identification and mitigation of project-related risk
Attend training and sales meetings as required to stay current with industry trends
Other relevant tasks as assigned
Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
10+ years of Leadership experience, preferably within the construction industry required
Experience in project management, estimating and field supervision preferred
Previous experience in self-perform trades is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Procore
High attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to multi-task
Travel
Travel may be required for visiting job sites as well as other office locations. The anticipated travel amount for this role is under 30%.
Work Environment
As the Regional Director, you will be subject to various work environments. These environments include office and field settings. Employee must be comfortable with sitting for an extended period.
