Regional Channel Manager - US TOLA Region

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Channels, the Regional Channel Manager (RCM) will play a crucial role in managing existing partners and expanding our partner network within the assigned territory. The RCM will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships to promote our suite of connectivity solutions. Unlike traditional RCM roles that often rely on TSDs, this position requires a hands-on approach to directly engage and sell to partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong roster of existing partners and demonstrate the ability to drive business independently without relying on TSDs for lead generation. This role demands a proactive sales professional with a direct selling approach, focused on partner engagement and growth. Additionally, the candidate must possess a deep understanding of the sales funnel process, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing, as well as expertise in building and managing a robust sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage partners in a designated territory to help them succeed in selling Cloudli products to prospective customers
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing new business and managing partner relationships
  • Forecast and report sales activity and revenue
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners, including value-added resellers (VARs), managed service providers (MSPs), system integrators, and telecom agents
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners to drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach with partners to demonstrate the technology benefits of Cloudli’s platform
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce a strong pipeline of business while accurately forecasting in the company CRM
  • Understand partners’ business models and how Cloudli’s offering can enhance their value proposition
  • Provide training and enablement resources to partners to ensure a thorough understanding of our products, value proposition, and sales strategies
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives with partners, including lead generation campaigns, co-selling opportunities, and promotional events
  • Track partner performance and pipeline activity, providing regular updates and forecasts to senior management
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats
  • Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, gathering feedback on product features, pricing, and support services to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure partners adhere to contractual agreements, program guidelines, and compliance standards set forth by the company
  • Serve as internal channel advocate to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events such as trade shows and seminars to promote Cloudli and build industry relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of five years’ experience selling UCaaS solutions to channel partners in the SMB and enterprise market
  • Proven experience with the sales funnel process and expertise in building and managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Demonstrated tenacity for developing and managing a strong base of channel partners within the designated territory
  • Proven track record in growing partner revenues
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts and negotiate effectively with partners
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute channel strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Sales, R&D, and Marketing to achieve partner objectives
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets
  • Ability to travel within the designated territory as needed
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for technology and a willingness to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry landscape
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
