A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECREATION ACTIVITY ASSISTANT

As a new Recreation Activity Assistant on our team, you can expect to work a typical schedule of 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Your main responsibility is to create meaningful relationships with the residents through various activities that cater to their cultural, social, religious, physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. You work under the supervision of the Recreation Director and help plan, organize, and facilitate daily resident activities. This includes assisting with creating the monthly calendar, charting participation, gathering residents for activities, and facilitating occasional community events.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A RECREATION ACTIVITY ASSISTANT?

Are you a self-starter with a heart for serving the elderly?
