Job Summary
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Remote Real Estate Analyst! This role offers a unique chance to work closely with executive leadership in evaluating new real estate acquisition opportunities and structuring transactions. This hands-on position will provide extensive exposure to underwriting, financial modeling, equity and debt structuring, due diligence, market analysis, zoning analysis, and the overall real estate transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the investment team to manage and expand our database for new investment opportunities.
Assist in screening and evaluating potential investment opportunities.
Conduct thorough due diligence on new investments through research, financial modeling, meeting participation, and occasional travel when necessary.
Support the closing process of acquisitions and disposition of assets, which includes deal structuring, purchase and sale agreements, partnership agreements, third-party due diligence reports, financial statement reviews, and on-site due diligence.
Perform financial modeling and underwriting for new acquisitions.
Actively participate in regular meetings with our executive team, where market opportunities are presented, discussed, and evaluated.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in real estate underwriting and acquisitions, or similar expertise utilizing finance, research, and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Advanced skills in Argus, MS Excel, Outlook, and Internet research.
