Role Description

 

Red Cedar Homes is seeking a meticulous and experienced Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will track and manage data related to re-zonings, land development approvals, and permit starts, ensuring precise data entry and facilitating informed decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical thinker who can support our dynamic and expanding team. There is potential for growth within our business development department, contributing to land deals and other strategic opportunities. Primary Responsibilities

•      Track and manage data related to re-zonings, land development approvals, and permit starts.

•      Ensure accurate and timely data entry

•      Monitor market trends and updates to provide insights for informed decision-making.

•      Maintain organized records of all tracked data for easy access and reporting.

•      Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue new land deals and opportunities.

•      Prepare and present reports on data findings to support strategic planning and business initiatives.

•      Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies as they arise.

•      Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and protocols.

•      Support various departments with data-related inquiries and needs.

•      Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the data management workflow.

•      Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

•      Experience in related position preferred.

•      College degree in a related position preferred.



Schedule:

 

•      Monday-Friday, standard daytime hours; 8 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required.


Job Type:

 

•      Full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week.


Compensation:


•      $55,000-$60,000


Benefits:

 

•      Medical insurance covered to the employee 100%

•      Dental insurance covered to the employee 100%

•      Vision insurance covered to the employee 100%

•      401k with a Safe Harbor match formula of 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of their compensation, then 50% matching contribution of next 2% of employee's compensation.

•      11 annual company paid holidays.

•      5.54 hours paid time off per bi-weekly pay period.


Ability to Commute/Relocate:

 

•      Charlotte, NC: Ability to reliably commute or willingness to relocate before starting work (Required).



Work Location:

 

•      In-person and some hybrid




Work Environment:

 

•      Office-based environment with a business casual dress code. Standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines, are used in this role.


Physical Demands:

 

•      The role requires the ability to talk and hear, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasional lifting of office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds, may be necessary. Some travel might be required.
