Job Description
The Director of Outreach provides hiring, training and management oversight to outreach staff, outreach program implementation, budgets, grant reports, and assists with quality plan. The Director of Outreach serves as a member of the CEO's executive team and provides oversight, management and direction to the client support staff, outreach, volunteer, educational and grant- funded programs/services. Provides adherence education and advocacy within the community and manages relationships within priority populations and stakeholders.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
The Director of Outreach will work under the supervision and administrative guidance of the President and CEO while carrying out the following responsibilities:

Major Duties And Responsibilities
The Director of Outreach will work under the supervision and administrative guidance of the President and CEO while carrying out the following responsibilities:
- Supervise Evidence-Based interventions to ensure program fidelity
- Oversee hiring, training and management of all outreach staff
- Substitute to facilitate Evidence-based trainings when necessary
- Oversee and assist with collecting and analyzing data
- Plan and facilitate meetings (internally and externally)
- Ensure smooth coordination of services for clients and community
- Provide input on macro decisions about program direction and implementation
- Develop and use creative and innovative methods to achieve outcomes
- Ensure sustainability of programs
- Track and monitor outcomes for programs and projects
- Create quality improvement projects for outreach programs
- Oversee implementation of quality improvement projects for outreach programs
- Monitor billing and use of funds for projects in the outreach department
- Analyze program goals and outcomes for outreach and develop plans for improving deficits
- Oversee use of evaluation web
- Collaborate on the implementation of internal audits for outreach program
- Oversee and provide all necessary monthly, quarterly and annual reports and reviews for outreach programs
- Create policies and procedures for outreach programs
- Oversee outreach managers
- Participate and/or lead in trainings, supervision, agency and inter-disciplinary meetings and required agency functions
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in continuous quality improvement for the department and the agency
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with the RAIN's priority population including a strong knowledge base of HIV/AIDS.
- Maintain working knowledge and adherence to HIPAA regulations, attending all required trainings and maintain confidentiality of client records, situations and information
- Comfort and willingness to give strong attention to details
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work well within the organizational structure
- Ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of medical case management model and High Impact Prevention Model
- Knowledge of community and social services organizations and willingness to keep up to date with changing community dynamics and agencies
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem solving skills are a must
- Self-starter able to work with limited supervision as well as abilities to work within a team
- Ability to determine when supervision and assistance are necessary and willingness to seek that assistance/supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with public speaking skills and willingness to train others
- Ability to comfortably and professionally navigate working relationships across the agency spectrum; including but not limited to clients and their families, staff colleagues, volunteers, third party providers, donors and members of the Board of Directors
- Provide education and information on HIV, prevention, safer-sex techniques and ongoing education to clients and their families as well as other organizations, families and individuals as needed
- Knowledge of and expected willingness to remain current on LGBTQ+ cultural issues
- Valid driver's license, dependable transportation and vehicle insurance
- Comfort in generally using a computer with a willingness to learn other specific programs
- Working knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations, a passing score on HIPAA regulations training, attending all required trainings and understanding of maintain confidentiality of client records and information
- Work effectively with other community service providers to identify and ensure optimal quality of services offered to clients and to develop new resources to meet the needs of the client; maintaining the highest level of professionalism and cooperation at all times with other service providers
- Ability to demonstrate cultural competency and understanding of the structural barriers impacting health outcomes
- Ability to recognize and maintain personal and professional boundaries as well as practice regular self-care
