Quality Engineer II

Job Title: Quality Engineer II - A, B & C Shifts

Location: Onsite: Merritt Island, Florida 32953

Schedule: A Shift Mon- Fri - 7am - 4:30pm, B Shift - Mon- Thurs 4pm - 2:30AM, C shift - Fri - Sun 6am - 6pm

Work Authorization: US Person (citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Top Technical Skills Needed:

1. Experience with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems.
2. Proficiency in quality tools such as Lean principles, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
3. Strong background in advanced product quality planning (APQP), process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), and control plans.
4. Quality performance measurement and analysis capabilities.
5. Quality Management System audit experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within a production environment.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management Systems and related programs.
• Ability to support manufacturing schedules, including first or second shifts and overtime as needed.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired Skills:

• American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Experience in aerospace, space launch, military, or commercial aviation sectors.
• Proficiency with IPC J-STD-001 (Space Addendum) and IPC 620 standards (IPC-WHMA-A-620).
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, or comparable certification.
