Role Description
The role of Quality Manager is a crucial part of our management team. As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, focus, and support for critical quality initiatives. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our products and services meet and exceed established quality standards and customer expectations. You will be required to maintain our quality management system, oversee quality control processes, maintain compliance with ISO 19001:2015 standards, and collaborate with various departments to continuously improve organizational processes.

The role of Quality Manager is a crucial part of our management team. As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, focus, and support for critical quality initiatives. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our products and services meet and exceed established quality standards and customer expectations. You will be required to maintain our quality management system, oversee quality control processes, maintain compliance with ISO 19001:2015 standards, and collaborate with various departments to continuously improve organizational processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Manages the Quality Management System (QMS) and other customer quality requirements with assistance from Top Management, including Management Review Meetings:
- Maintains, manages, and provides leadership for the Corrective Action and Nonconforming Product Processes; and root cause analysis (Fishbone, 5-Why):
- Maintains and manages returned goods process (RMA) and Continual Improvement process (OFI):
- Maintains and manages the Incoming Inspection of goods and services:
- Maintains and manages the QMS Audit Schedule (Internal, External and Vendor Audits):
- Maintains and manages the Gage, Scale and Test Equipment Calibration Process (Internal and External):
- Works with Technical Engineering to determine, develop, and/ or test Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements:
- Works with Supply Chain to evaluate current suppliers and identify new supplier and partners:
- Drive improvement in critical metrics including customer complaints, scrap, costs of poor quality and corrective actions:
- Participates in the decision making process to hold / release current production, held product, or returned product, and recommend disposition:
- Leads, develop, and train Quality Department staff to basic Quality standards and requirements:
- Identify and resolve issues; determine system improvements and work with engineers to implement change:
- Degreed preferred but not necessary:
- Minimum 2 years in a similar quality role:
- Knowledge of ISO 1901:2015 Quality System:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products:
- High sense of urgency with a focus on teamwork to resolve issues:
- Demonstrated Tact and professional communication both written and verbal:
