Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: Product

Reports to: Senior Software Developer

Job Description:

• Develops, publishes, and executes test plans and test cases.
• Develops quality assurance standards.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Testing and diagnosing existing web-based software products through debugging, regression testing, participating in code reviews, creating unit tests, and debugging
• Writing technical specifications and other supporting documentation for software products
• Assisting the Support team to resolve customer issues requiring detailed knowledge of the inner workings of software products.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in English and technical writing skills
• Strong knowledge of Internet and Microsoft technologies
• 3+ years of testing web applications
• 3+ years of testing and scripting SQL
• 3+ years’ experience testing web services and client/server applications.
• Able to quickly react to changing priorities
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Health care applications
• Experience with automated pharmaceutical supply chain management
• Microsoft Azure
• LogMeIn
• Experience with Pyxis or Cubex cabinets
• Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps
• HIPAA training and certification
  
  

Hours of Operation/Travel:

• Generally working from the Corporate Office in Scottsdale
• Hybrid work schedule consisting of Mondays through Thursdays in the Office and Fridays working from home. Summer hours: T-Th in the office and Monday and Friday working from home
• Limited to no travel is required

Compensation

• $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 DOE
