Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the company's procurement needs
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to ensure the best value for the company
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
Procurement Operations:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, requisitions, and approvals
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to meet operational needs
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively
Cost Management:
Analyze market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings
Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and service levels
Compliance and Sustainability:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards
Promote sustainable procurement practices and source environmentally friendly products whenever possible
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance their skills and performance
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement management, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices is a plus
