Location: On-site in Spring House, PA

Duration: 1 year contract with high likelihood of extension

Requirements

· B.sc. or Msc. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics or related field

· 2-5 years of experience working with stable cell lines, cell culture, and cell line development

· In-depth understanding of transient and stable protein expression

· Passion to drive efficiency of existing processes while simultaneously working to implement and apply novel solutions to technical challenges.

· Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve problems.

· Maintain accurate electronic laboratory notebooks and other records and writing of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and manuscripts.

· Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred skills:

· Proficiency in protein expression using CHO / HEK293 cell lines

· Experience with high throughput protein expression and purification

· Experience with liquid handling platforms (e.g. TECAN, Hamilton, and Lynx)

· Record of working as a part multi-disciplinary team to drive results

· Extensive experience with Antibody purification and characterization
