Job Description
As the Project Manager Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team of project managers and overseeing the successful execution of multiple projects. Your role will involve setting project goals, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
Facilitate team meetings and ensure all project documentation is maintained.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
