Project Manager (Automotive/Chemical Manufacturing)

Pave Talent is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client to join their team in The Woodland, Texas, and help streamline their innovation pipeline. This is a contract position, with an initial duration of 6 to 12 months, to evaluate the role's necessity before potentially increasing headcount. The Project Manager will work within the marketing group and collaborate closely with supply chain and commercial functions to overcome bottlenecks and enhance project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and streamline the innovation pipeline, ensuring timely progress and resolution of bottlenecks.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between marketing, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Make quick, informed decisions to keep projects moving forward.
• Ask critical questions and provide solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Work within the PU elastomers group, focusing on projects related to fire hoses, footwear, film protection, and more.
• Support marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Conduct regular status updates and provide clear, concise reports to stakeholders.
• Travel approximately 10% of the time to various company offices (e.g. Ringwood, IL; Derry, NH).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in the automotive industry, but other industries will be considered.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with PU elastomers or similar materials is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel domestically for project-related needs.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay rate between $50 and $57 per hour.
• Flexible hybrid work schedule, with the ability to work from home one to two days a week.
