$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.

The Program Manager Provides Critical Program Management And Administrative Services To Students And Faculty At The Georgetown University School Of Continuing Studies Professional Development & Certificates (PDC) Programs. This Position Supports PDC’s Goals Of
- high growth through improved performance of existing programs and development of new programs aligned to the vision of SCS;
- quality management that ensures a rigorous and beneficial learning environment for students and PDC faculty while controlling operating costs; and
- consistent branding and messaging aligned with PDC’s mission and the mission, vision, and values of SCS.
The Program Manager Also
- Offers extensive support to faculty in preparation for their courses and full support of all in-building and virtual needs of PDC faculty and students on all on campus class days.
- Assists with planning and producing events such as information sessions, virtual promotional events, new student orientation, faculty orientation, and other special events.
Work Interactions
- Staff: program administration, operations, enrollment management, academic affairs office, and SCS non-degree unit leaders.
- Students – prospective, current and alumni students. The Program Manager will counsel and advise students, troubleshoot registration and payment issues
- Faculty – The Program Manager will assist in onboarding new non-credit faculty, analyze evaluation data and communicate results to faculty and be part of interviewing new potential faculty.
- University – The Program Manager will need to have excellent communication skills in order to have clear communication with key offices on campus including Registrar, Student Accounts, and UIS as needed.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- One to three years of progressive office management experience, preferably in a higher education setting
- Demonstrated ability to be precise in capturing, organizing, storing, and analyzing large amounts of student data
- Proficiency in handling FERPA protected student information
- Demonstrated knowledge of the continuing and professional education programming
- Demonstrated ability to provide very high levels of service and professionalism with a strong orientation to detail, deadlines and to effectively serve diverse personalities, maintain poise and professional demeanor, diplomacy and tact
- Demonstrated ability in student support services, including handling complex, multiple logistics arrangements
- Demonstrated ability to manage costs within budget
- Demonstrated creativity and demonstrated ability to manage academic programs
- Outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and comfortable with database maintenance.
- Experience in project management
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of University faculty and student systems: GMS, Canvas, Destiny One etc.
