Job Summary: Lead and manage customers’ programs and projects from initial concept to release to manufacturing.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Calculate cost(s) for quoting all project needs. Center point for all customer cost conversations.
  • Communicate program/project requirements
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings and activities related to the program
  • Helps grow existing accounts by fostering professional working relationships with team while supporting sales team as a technical resource during soliciting of new business.
  • Create and manage project timelines.
  • Engage in design and development of parts and manufacturing processes from conceptual stages through production.
  • Collaborate with the Tooling Engineers who are responsible for the tooling deliverables; mold fabrication and implementation to successful production of customer’s part.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers who are responsible for part removal and work cell layouts.
  • Support Quality Engineers who are responsible for developing quality plan and successful long term product quality.
  • Oversee PQ (Production Qualifications) runs.
  • Maintain engineering and production files with proper paper work and documentation to support the IQMS PPAP module.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Project Management required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in an applicable Engineering discipline degree preferred.
  • Injection molding experience preferred.
  • Contract manufacturing experience preferred.
  • ISO 9001, 13485 working knowledge required.
  • Experience with tooling, injection molding process, automation, and secondary processes from concept to implementation preferred. Solid Modeling knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong team player.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.
  • Pharma experience required

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 40 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
  • Travel by air or car frequently
