Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Project Management Specialist for one of our federal clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.
  • Directing multiple activities of a group of management, organizational, and business process improvement staff to include executing business plans, developing plans and projects, determining needs, investigating, and resolving problems, interfacing with other functions and outside personnel, preparing capital and operating requests, and managing staff.
  • Organizing and directing work, coordinating efforts with other functions, and directing personnel to achieve objectives.
  • Directly supervising contractor employees. Interviewing, hiring, and training contractor employees.
  • Developing staff, planning, assigning, and directing work. Addressing complaints and resolving problems that arise throughout the period of performance.
  • Produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts, as necessary.

Requirements

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field (e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, etc.)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience overseeing and performing day-to-day functions of assigned delivery order projects that involve teams of consultants and functional experts and analyst.
  • Minimum of 4 years managing the activities of a group of management, organizational, and business process improvement staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create frequent business presentations.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access and Adobe Acrobat.
