As a Director of Programs, you will ensure the highest quality of services through clinical oversight, quality assurance, and program alignment, transforming the lives of those facing homelessness.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical review, feedback, and support for all direct care services.
  • Serves as matrix leader of staff executing the Atlanta Mission transformation model
  • Ensures policies and procedures deliver evidenced based and effective quality services for clients and provides accountability for staff.
  • Monitors clinical trends and makes informed, best practice decisions regarding service provisions.
  • Provides weekly status reports to the Chief Program Officer on Transformation Model compliance and areas of improvement.
  • Coordinates quality assurance and quality improvement processes and procedures with Service Managers.
  • Conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency of clinical documentation across all campuses.
  • Implements and develops new and ongoing assessments of services.
  • Participates in the interviewing and onboarding of clinical staff to enhance the client experience.
  • Provides formal training, consultation, and in-service training to team members on various clinical and administrative topics.
  • Provides clinical supervision for interns to foster the development of emerging professionals in the field and expand our caseload capacity
  • Provides clinical oversight to professionals seeking a clinical license within the state of Georgia.
  • Provides crisis intervention and backup support to clinicians and clients.
  • Prepares documents for legal proceedings and keeps abreast of client data to ensure appropriate service and care are delivered.
  • Maintains working relationships with outside agencies for collaboration, partnership building, and resource connections.

Position Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of therapeutic processes and methodologies
  • Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC & LMFT) in the State of Georgia with a master’s degree in social work, Clinical Psychology or Counseling
  • Minimum of four (4) years post-license experience providing direct clinical care services
  • Clinical Supervision designation and experience as determined by the Georgia State Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures and standards
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures and community mental health resources
  • Experience in quality improvement processes, auditing and clinical records documentation
