Overview
The Professional Development and Training (“PD&T”) Coordinator works closely with the leadership of the group (the PD&T Global Director, PD&T Director and PD&T Senior Manager) to design, coordinate and implement comprehensive and high-quality department and firmwide legal training.
Responsibilities

The anticipated pay range for this role is $62,500-$91,000 in Boston and $65,500-$95,000 in New York which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
Working Conditions
This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.

Overview
The Professional Development and Training (“PD&T”) Coordinator works closely with the leadership of the group (the PD&T Global Director, PD&T Director and PD&T Senior Manager) to design, coordinate and implement comprehensive and high-quality department and firmwide legal training.
Responsibilities
- Reports to and works closely with the Professional Development & Training Senior Manager (NY) and others on attorney training and development of programs.
- Coordinates legal training programs for the Business Restructuring and Tax, Employment & Benefits departments, including new associate camps. Coordinates with PD team or local office contacts in all offices to ensure consistency of program goals. Manages training program logistics, including creating/sending invitations, scheduling, working with presenters, creating and distributing sign-in sheets and materials, moderating programs, acting as a liaison with Conference Services, and collecting and compiling feedback.
- Working closely with the Global Director and the Director of PD&T, supports firmwide legal training programs, including skills training (e.g., legal project management, feedback and managerial skills), business acumen, new partner orientation and modules, partner cohort retreats and new counsel programs.
- Maintains and updates training charts and calendars.
- Collaborates with others to design and implement associate retreats by sitting on a retreat team.
- Updates resources on the firm’s infoNet.
- Schedules team meetings and prepares agendas.
- Ensures that training programs meet continuing legal education (CLE) and Hong Kong CPD requirements as needed. Assists with preparation of training program materials and maintaining CLE folders.
- Provides on-site support for training programs.
- Assists with development and maintenance of databases (Excel/CE Manager/Other).
- Understands and effectively uses required firm applications (Outlook, FileSite, CE Manager, and Microsoft Office applications).
- Assumes other responsibilities as needed to support the Professional Development & Training team.
