Professional Counselor/Therapist [LPC/LPCC or LCSW/LSW ] - Remote | WFH

Summary

This position is hourly (W-2), aimed at building a caseload averaging between 16 to 26 billable hours per week. We offer supervision, ongoing education, and training support.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Clinical Mental Health, Career Counseling, or Social Work, including a clinical counseling internship, or similar program.

Provisionally licensed or fully licensed in the state of Colorado to provide Behavioral Health Medicine as a Professional Counselor or Social Worker.

3-5 years of experience in direct support roles within Human Services, Education, Behavioral Health, Public Health, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field, providing one-to-one coaching, training, counseling, or similar support to diverse adult populations.

Preferred Qualifications

Full licensure in Colorado to provide Clinical Behavioral and Mental Health Counseling as a Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker.

1-3 years of experience providing one-to-one counseling in a telehealth setting.

Experience with psycho-social and medical aspects of disability models.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with adults navigating their wellness journey amidst chronic conditions and work-related transitions.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

Support clients in addressing interpersonal dynamics and conflicts affecting their relationships and professional journey.

Collaborate with clients to establish and adjust treatment goals and objectives as needed.

Educate clients on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and healthy behaviors.

Provide information on community resources and support networks.

Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing the counseling profession.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.

Coordinate care with other mental health professionals as part of comprehensive client support.

Stay updated with counseling advancements through ongoing training and professional development.

Engage in self-care practices to ensure personal well-being and prevent burnout.

Utilize culturally sensitive communication to support clients from diverse backgrounds.

Position Requirements

Maintain a minimum average of 16 billable client hours weekly.

Accurately complete and submit documentation as per company policy.

Conduct telehealth sessions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards.

Access a secure and private workspace with reliable internet, camera, and microphone.

Attend periodic remote company meetings and training sessions.

Maintain and monitor a consistent work schedule for client and administrative appointments.
