Performs purchasing and inventory activities as well as some forecasting analysis.
Job Duties
Maintains files and records
Contributes to the coordination of operations regarding various matters, including assisting with the day-to-day tasks for procurement, warehousing and inventory
Provides analyst support for variances, inventory and operations
Serves as a back-up person on inventory transactions and tickets
Assist with parts shortages given by contract manufacturers
Assist buyer/planners across product lines with purchase orders as needed
Assist in year-end preparation and activities
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2-4 years recent purchasing experience combined with knowledge of general accounting knowledge
Experience purchasing electronics & electronic assemblies is a plus
Must be extremely responsive & action-oriented
Take charge attitude required
Good organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Great Plains ERP software experience is a plus
Assist with and support internal and external customers by providing status/updates as needed.
Work with vendors to ensure pricing, quantities, delivery/promise dates are accurate.
