Kincell is seeking a highly motivated Production Planner/Scheduler for a site-based role that can be a key contributor to a dynamic and collaborative Supply Chain team.

The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for assisting manufacturing and process development planning, scheduling, strategic decisions across multiple technology platforms, clients, and programs. Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for assuring all assigned activities and associated raw material forecasting, bottlenecks, and risks are identified, risk-mitigated, and managed to ensure on-time delivery of production schedules within a cGMP environment. The production planner/scheduler will develop site operations input for Sales and Operation Planning Meeting for the site.

  • Develop and manage site capacity models
  • Monitor manufacturing and process development schedule
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve raw material issues, scheduling conflicts, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and monitor raw material supply
  • Assist in technology transfers and the maintenance of BOMs.
  • Lead raw material planning, inventory control activities, and demand forecasting.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings to communicate production plans, highlight potential issues, and propose solutions to ensure alignment across production and sales teams
  • Implement/Follow best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning and scheduling

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in materials management, S&OP process, or production planning in life sciences industry
  • Proficiency in materials management, S&OP process, and/or production planning
  • Proficiency MS Excel, Project, ERP systems (MS Dynamics a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Physical Demands

  • Adjusting or moving objects weighing up to 25lbs
  • In the performance of the duties of this job, the employee is required to travel occasionally and drive a motor vehicle

  • Minimal travel required.

Location

  • This is a site-based position located in Gainesville, FL, and it will require some non-standard working hours, including early morning or late evening.
