A San Antonio based E&P Oil & Gas company are on the look out for a production engineer to join the team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong production engineering background with around 5 years experience and a proven track record of improving production efficiency through innovative artificial lift solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize artificial lift systems to enhance production efficiency.
Monitor and analyze well performance data to identify and resolve production issues.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize oil and gas recovery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geologists, reservoir engineers, and field operators.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of artificial lift failures.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for management.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production engineering, specifically with artificial lift systems.
Strong knowledge of various artificial lift methods including ESP, rod lift, gas lift, and others.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
