Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production/Content Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting the creation and production of our various media products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about media production, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Booking: Identify, contact, and secure guests for our television show, podcast, and other audio/video productions.
- Schedule Coordination: Manage and coordinate schedules for recordings, ensuring all participants are informed and available.
- Script Writing: Assist in writing and editing scripts for various productions, ensuring clarity and coherence.
- Interview Preparation: Prepare research materials and questions for interviews, ensuring thorough and insightful conversations.
- Social Media Management: Assist in creating and scheduling social media content to promote our shows and engage with our audience.
- Audio and Video Editing: Perform basic audio and video editing tasks to ensure high-quality production values.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the production team as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Previous 1-2 years experience in media production, content creation, or a related field.
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management.
- Basic knowledge of audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Audacity).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
