Production Artist

Our Retail Display manufacturing company that specializes in creating tangible consumer engagements that elevate, connect and humanize brand experiences, is seeking a Production Artist.

This position will be dedicated to one specific client, but will work from their Southwest Chicago Office near Midway Airport with the opportunity to work remotely 1-2 days/week once onboarded.

To be considered Production Artist must have:

• Minimum 3 years' retail / POP production experience
• Strong proficiency in Mac + Adobes Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
• Strong knowledge of pre-flighting files
• Experience and knowledge of: Litho printing, Silk-screening, Digital printing, Mounting, Die-cutting, Assembly, Kitting preferred.

Production Artist Responsibilities:

• Manipulate/prepare files for print production and any needed photo retouching or content editing
• Work on projects from concept through print, including file transfers, FTP access, online proofs, revisions, prototypes, and updating status of projects
• Inspect jobs for accuracy prior to sending to client for final approvals
• Provide proofs as necessary
• Ensure compliance to brand guidelines of the client
• Maintains electronic records of work performed and job status
