Product Owner, Information Technology (One Year Only)

Description
Oversees and coordinates activities between IT teams and business owners related to divisionwide technology product lines; serves as the expert for assigned products; serves as a liaison between technology staff and organization representatives to prioritize the backlog and streamline the execution of program priorities; recommends product line improvements; works with cross-functional delivery teams and project managers to deliver delightful customer experience; responsible for ensuring the Division receives its return on investment for assigned products.
Qualifications
Required
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in information systems, business management, education, or a related field.
Five (5) years of progressive work experience in a technology environment, some of which shall have been in supporting large complex project/product implementations working directly with business owners to identify and prioritize their needs.
Knowledge of best practices with respect to customer service and customer-oriented account management.
Knowledge of business and information technology practices and trends by comparable school systems or businesses.
Knowledge and understanding of technology-related issues and how they might impact assigned customers.
Knowledge of job-related policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as the fundamental concepts, regulations, and practices of the field.
Knowledge of appropriate local, state, and federal laws and regulations dealing with technology.
Skilled in implementing large scale technology solutions, working with multidisciplinary teams, and functioning as a team leader.
Ability to apply experienced level of technical knowledge and skills in the product categories.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
Experience as a product owner or solution lead.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Agile Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Agile Project Manager PMI-ACP, or related certification.

$91,628 - $155,921
