Overview

Do you want to make an impact on developer experience across the globe? We are growing at an exponential scale and are looking for a passionate senior leader to own, develop, and grow core capabilities like licensing, billing, and usage reporting. These capabilities will be the cornerstone of enabling GitHub for growth and are a part of the simplification of our portfolio for customers. We are looking for a Product Manager to help define the vision and product strategy within this space for GitHub This role involves aligning cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to build features that grow adoption, usage, and revenue of our offerings.

We are looking for an ambitious, passionate, and collaborative product manager with a strong background in working with high-performing teams and the ability to deliver business results focused on billing and order management services.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and design teams to create clarity for the product, define technical specifications and ensure execution and delivery within billing services.
  • Execute on the comprehensive product roadmap reflecting and catering to the direct customer needs, pain points, adoption blockers, and feedback from internal teams.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and product development.
  • Be inclusive and work across the company with a strong sense of ownership and belonging. Drives and tracks success criteria and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Required Qualification:

  • 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management, software development, product design, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external to deliver on the roadmap and product while delivering on features
  • 2+years of experience in executing and delivering a billing and order management system or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working remotely and working with distributed teams across time zones

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $90,700.00 - USD $240,500.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
