Product Development Scientist

Seeking a Senior Product Scientist to support research and development initiatives aimed at accelerating growth in various sectors including women’s health and wellness.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting science-based analysis, evaluation, and technical review for emerging ingredients.
• Performing in-depth scientific and technical investigations, drafting literature reviews, and facilitating evaluation processes for claims and safety compliance.
• Managing projects in development, ensuring timelines are met, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Interpreting and communicating complex scientific concepts to provide the scientific foundation for product education and creative assets.
• Coordinating the evaluation of raw materials, product development samples, and laboratory submissions.
• Staying up to date with new trends in relevant ingredients for product roadmap and concept designs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Science, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in product development, R&D, and/or regulatory affairs within relevant industries.
• Exceptional expertise in technical research, project management, and vendor relationship management.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple moving pieces, lead different groups, and adapt to new technology and innovations.
• Thoughtful, self-reflective, team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented mindset.
