This position is full-time and hybrid/remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

As Procurement Analyst working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for rate management including New Rate submissions will need to be analyzed with current market data and negotiated and approved by the customer

Purpose Of Your Work
As Procurement Analyst working within Managed Services (one of our entities), you will be responsible for rate management including New Rate submissions will need to be analyzed with current market data and negotiated and approved by the customer
How You Make a Difference Everyday
Rate Management
- Requests for both Fully Managed customers and Co-Managed customer will be handled and upload by the team
- New RFP results will need to be structured, built and ranked in both MG and OTM operating systems
- New Rate submissions will need to be analyzed with current market data and negotiated and approved by the customer
- Implementation of Procurement Software will need to be trained, managed, and rolled out to the vendor community
- Managed Vendor Database for procurement events and engagement
- Create, manage, update, and maintain rate schedules, benchmark rates for new lanes for cost studies
- Work with the customer and Data Analytics team and Integration Team to create the RFP to the customers’ needs
- Be a team player
- Learn to work with such cross functional groups as Implementation, AP, Knowledge Services, Operations, and Sales Leadership
- By applying functional experience, identifies ideas with other functional leaders, employees and customers to create and influence opportunities for quality improvement throughout the organization.

- Networks across the organization and develops successful internal and external relationships.

- At least 2 years of combined experience in carrier Procurement and Logistics/Operations
- Solid understanding of Excel and Data Management execution
- Previous Experience with RFP management and execution
- Solid Understanding of Tableau Reporting and Data integration
- KPI Performance Management
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Availability to travel 5-10% of the time
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, working knowledge of Tableau
- Familiar with any TMS platform (Mercury Gate and Oracle Transportation Management) as well as DAT-TransCore, PC Miler, Rand McNally, Tableau, Python, RFP Software Management, Performance KPI Management
