Join the Principal Finance group in Macquarie Capital and be a part of the Global Operations team responsible for the middle office management of our principal investing portfolio, from pre-acquisition to divestment.

The Principal Finance team, in Macquarie Capital, operates globally, providing flexible primary financing solutions and engaging in secondary market investing, across the capital structure, in both the corporate and real estate sectors. The team has extensive experience across a variety of industry groups including real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, media, entertainment and technology, leisure, and healthcare.

What role will you play?

As a leader in the middle office team, you will work directly with the front office deal team and key external service providers where you will be responsible for supporting a large and well-connected investing business for all operational management and execution activities in the private credit sectors with a focus on fund operations. In this role you will be responsible for fund operations, including coordination and ownership of relations with outside fund administrators, fund auditors, fund investors, accounting, compliance, legal, tax, treasury, and front office. Additionally, you will handle the operational analysis of proposed transactions and implementation of appropriate procedures for effective day to day management. You will also be responsible for end-to-end transaction management including, advising and coordinating approvals from risk management, legal, finance, and accounting. Lastly, you will report portfolio metrics for Regional CIOs and have ownership of data in loan management and peripheral system.

Salary range for this position: $86,000 - $170,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What You Offer

  • 4-7 years of experience within financial or professional services in a similar or related role
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business
  • Ideally you will have experience fund administration and registered investment advisors
  • Ideally will have experience in private credit related activities and experience in process optimization and change project is advantageous
  • CPA or CFA is preferred
