Summary

The Practice Leader will effectively manage, motivate, and mentor one or more practice teams. They will direct the set strategy and lead day to day practice operations. In addition to leadership, the Practice Director will also be client facing and handle complex clients and projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Direct practice team by providing day to day oversight and guidance. Help prioritize workload, assess quality, provide coaching, and career guidance.
  • Serve as the highest level of technical expertise in the firm and act as a thought leader by advising clients on how to best solve complex problems
  • Align with Sales and assigned internal team members to assist in creating client sales and development strategies. Attend account/sales pipeline reviews and serve as a primary contact for KCS project and opportunity related activities.
  • Develop client sales collateral including powerpoint deck, SOW, pricing, technical scope, implementation plan, timeline, risks, issues, case studies, and best practices
  • Provide post-sale collaboration with Delivery Performance on the implementation of services to include team orientation, engagement set up, performance management, service level agreement compliance, service metrics, quality control, security compliance., reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Serves as point of escalation in resolving complex client issues directly related to service delivery commitments.
  • Develop and adhere to the department and practice playbooks including tools, processes, and procedures to actively monitor and represent practice metrics to stakeholders.
  • Track success metrics of engagements. Continually identify and recommend improvements to become more productive and scalable, and participate in client QBR's (quarterly business reviews).
  • Support the administration, networking, relationship management and coaching of key consultants in the Principle Consultant Program.
  • Assist in supporting Kforce Consulting Solutions branding and marketing by partner with Practice Leaders to write and post original content, attend events, develop case studies and project successes.
  • Create personas, screen candidates, and make hiring decisions related to the billable consultants that will deliver solutions to our clients
  • Maintain current information on trends and best practices within relevant technical, functional, and industry within the practice area(s)
  • Create and deliver technical demos, proof of concepts to demonstrate solutions during the sales process or during project management
  • Create, drive, and maintain internal reporting metrics on health of the business including key performance indictors and financials
  • Proactively drive continuous improvements on internal processes

Education And/Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in professional services (i.e., systems integrators, management consulting, software) required.
  • Former consulting experience facilitating and managing complex business modernization or digital transformation preferred.
  • Team or Lead experience in one of the firm’s primary practice areas and established experience in at least one industry vertical required.
  • Able to read and write code, create reference architectures, and demonstrate proficiency across the enterprise technology ecosystem

Certificates And/Or Licenses

Two or more in related technical domain area such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or similar

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
