Role: Project Manager - Please note, we are currently collecting Project Managers for our pipeline. We may not have an immediate opening for this.
A Project Manager (PM) owns the engagement and is responsible and accountable for its successful completion. The PM’s job is to ensure that the engagement proceeds within the specified time frame and under the established budget, while achieving the objectives. Project managers advocate for engagements to be given sufficient resources, manage those resources, and also manage the relationships with contributors and stakeholders. Project Managers stay engaged over the life of the engagement to ensure that the solution progresses towards the deliverables and stays aligned with evolving client needs, within the scope.
Responsibilities:
Has responsibility and accountability for the engagement
Manage and own comprehensive budgets, resource planning, deliverables, and profit/loss
Define roles and responsibilities needed for the engagement
Lead the planning activities, defines the schedule and applies assigned resources
Routinely track the engagement members’ progress against their assignments
Perform issue and risk management
Communicate engagement status internally and externally
Drive decision-making to appropriate level
Promote client involvement
Scope and estimate engagements for Project Management
Requirements:
Knowledge of project scheduling or other enterprise PM software tools
Experience guiding a cross sectional team, to implement a project
Ability to pull stakeholders together to build alignment
Ability to facilitate the creation of a task plan / work breakdown structure (WBS) from client requirements/work packages
Ability to structure and organize a team to define, develop and implement technology-based solutions for complex documented requirements
Ability to utilize work breakdown structure and organizational breakdown structure to create a schedule
Ability to be proactive in identifying risks/issues and work out mitigation solutions
Excellent logical reasoning ability
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Good graphical communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Disciplined in following Project Methodology Best Practices
