YOUR MISSION:

Position Overview

As a key member of the PUMA North America Demand Planning team, you will play a key role in supply plan executions using customer signals, historical data, statistical projections, and market feedback. You will effectively communicate forecast confidence and risks to support inventory decisions. Your responsibilities include in-depth analysis, taking corrective action as needed and making recommendations to help improve forecast accuracy and meet defined inventory and financial goals.

YOUR MISSION (Responsibilities)

  • Develop an optimal and attainable demand plan based on current orders and forecasts to support targeted customer service levels, inventory, lead-time, and total cost objectives for the product range.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planning and Retail groups to balance monthly demand & supply.
  • Run, format, analyze, and prepare reports and forecasting projects to support growth, supply balancing and level loading.
  • Manage exceptions in the supply chain and interact with internal teams to adjust in support of revised strategies.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve minimum order quantities, lead times and flexibility to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
  • Support in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs to align with sales plans.
  • Work to improve Customer Service Levels while balancing supply and demand. Identifying inventory shortages and communicating with sales and procurement.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand-supply planning process.
  • Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes, and practices.

YOUR TALENT (Qualifications)

  • 2-3 years of experience of directly related forecasting, order book management and analytics experience.
  • Proficient with Demand Planning methodology.
  • Proactive and assertive in follow-through with colleagues and business partners, including a high degree of self-direction.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Accurate, detail oriented, with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
