Practice Features
The practice consists of 4 ObGyn physicians, 6 Certified Nurse Midwives, and one Nurse Practitioner
Average of 300 births per year, including VBACs
The Midwives and Nurse Practitioners provide most of the routine OB and well-woman/person care
ObGyn physicians provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients of all ages, both in-office and on-call during off-hours
Call is 10 days for 1.0 FTE and 1:4 weekends
Call is back up to a Midwife who takes the first call and handles routine vaginal deliveries and labor management, while also taking patient calls
Physician office visits consist of more complex OB and GYN consults and a large breadth of office procedures
3-4 office days per week
60-bed non-profit community hospital
Serving a rural population of 55,000 people
