Description Of Primary Duties
Missouri State University-West Plains is looking for per course faculty to teach in the area of Physics.
Responsibilities will include teaching assigned courses, grading student’s work in a timely manner, being available for student assistance relating to course(s), submitting mid-term and final grades by the due date/time, submitting course assessment(s) by the stipulated deadline, and participating in required training.
Classes may be scheduled during the day or evening hours and may be seated, online, blended or interactive video.
Per-course faculty members are appointed on a semester basis only. The hours which per-course faculty are allowed to teach each semester are determined by current regulations. Consult with the office of academic affairs to determine the number of hours allowed.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean. Bachelor’s degree may be acceptable in certain subject areas as determined by the Dean.
