We are in search of an experienced Peoplesoft Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of Peoplesoft Payroll systems and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.
Responsibilities
Process payroll transactions accurately and promptly using the Peoplesoft Payroll system.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and requirements.
Review and validate payroll data for accuracy, including employee hours, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
Address payroll inquiries promptly and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Generate payroll reports as required for management and accounting purposes.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain seamless payroll processes.
Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as necessary.
Stay updated on changes to payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Provide training and support to staff on payroll processes and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in using Peoplesoft Payroll system and other relevant software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a similar role within a medium to large-sized organization is advantageous.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional are a plus.
