Position Summary

We are seeking a diligent Payroll Specialist to join our team remotely. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in processing multi-state U.S. payroll for 300+ employees and international payrolls for Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands. Our payroll operations are handled by ADP in the U.S. and Celergo for international payrolls. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, accuracy, and confidentiality in executing payroll responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in processing bi-weekly multi-state payroll for approximately 300 U.S. employees across 45 states.
  • Assist in managing international payrolls for Canada and the Netherlands.
  • Update payroll records for employee changes including pay rates, addresses, and benefit plans.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax reporting, including W-2's and 1095's.
  • Ensure accuracy of PTO balances.
  • Manage service tickets with Fidelity for 401K updates.
  • Fulfill employment verification requests.
  • Provide backup support to the Senior Payroll Administrator.
  • Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of progressive multi-state payroll processing experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Certification and/or Associates Degree preferred.
  • General accounting knowledge with payroll experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in intermediate Excel skills, including Formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP's.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to change and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
