Payroll Accountant

Position: Payroll Accountant

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

Pay: Starting at $28/hour (depending on experience)

Experience: 1 year of General Ledger, Journal entry, and Account reconciliation experience (Required)

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm (Flexible)

Greene Resources is seeking a Payroll Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Process payroll for employees using UKG HRIS on a biweekly cadence.
• Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related payments.
• Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes, including but not limited to benefit deductions, 401(k), and HSA/FSA.
• Respond to employee questions about payroll matters.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Assist with various payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
