Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Patrol Officer at Polk County Police Dept. As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining public safety by conducting patrols, responding to calls for service, enforcing laws and regulations, investigating incidents, and supporting community policing initiatives. You will work closely with fellow officers and other emergency services personnel to ensure the highest level of safety and security within the community.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of emergency services procedures
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience in law enforcement or related field is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training or education in law enforcement is preferred
Current Valid Drivers License
