Job Description:
- Review the initial disclosure and interview with inventors to further develop the disclosure.
- Draft the specification of the patent application.
- Prosecute the patent application, including responding to USPTO office actions and conduct examiner interviews.
- Communicate with client about the prosecution strategies as necessary (English communication is sufficient).
- Fully remote acceptable. Prefer in DC-Maryland-Virginia area.
Requirement:
- BS in electrical engineering. MS preferred.
- Took classes in semiconductor physics, circuit design, and computer language programming at undergraduate or graduate level.
- Juris Doctor graduate from a US law school.
- Licensed attorney in at least one US state.
- Licensed patent attorney in front of USPTO.
- At least two years of patent prosecution experience in specification drafting and responding office actions in semiconductor and computer science field.
- Has experience in discussing and developing invention disclosure directly with inventors.
- Legal status to work in the US. Can sponsor H1B.
- Mandarin speaking is a plus, but not necessary.
The work location can be DC、Maryland、Virginia、Boston、Chicago、Austin.
