“The Singles Pastor will provide leadership and spiritual shepherding for Singles 45+ at Cornerstone, for Chandler and the surrounding communities, equipping them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.”
The Singles Pastor will develop vision and infrastructure for their ministry that is in line with the church’s ministry strategies and philosophy. They should lead by example and cultivate a positive spirit throughout the church family. They should represent Christ and His church well in the community at large.

What You Will Do
Develop a strategy to reach and disciple singles in Chandler and the surrounding communities, this audience would include those who are 45+, divorced, never been married, as well as single parents.
Develop and oversee both large group and small group settings for singles.
Plan and execute an annual calendar of events and activities that is congruent with the direction of the overall church.
Moves singles towards relationship with Christ and maturity in Christ.
Provide pastoral care, counseling, and support to singles.
Serve as the primary teaching pastor for this area of ministry within the church.
Experience You Have
5+ years’ experience in fulltime ministry, at least 2 in a church larger than 2000+ members.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an area of concentration that has equipped them for vocational ministry.
Leadership/Management experience working in a large church setting of 2000+.
History of building strong ministry teams.
Aligns with the vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Cornerstone.
Skills You Have
Gift of evangelism and sharing the gospel.
Self-motivated, teachable, and an eagerness to work with other teams.
Significant collaboration skills with other teams & people.
A self-reliant, self-starter, with the ability to innovate.
Generates new ideas, gives direction, and assists others in working the details.
