Position Summary

The Partnerships Manager Consultant works to build revenue for the organization. The Partnerships Manager will be managed by the Director of Partnerships and Development. The Partnerships Manager Consultant will have a strong work ethic, a solutions-driven ethos, self-awareness, a passion for social justice, and critical attention to detail with a strong desire to meaningfully address harassment and a passion for bringing bystander intervention to scale through corporate and organizational partnerships.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Sales:

  • Client Engagement and Recruitment.
    • Create an average of 6 new opportunities per week through new client calls and returning client requests
    • Develop customized ladders of engagement for key clients
    • Cross-promote our corporate accomplices and sponsorship programs to prospective clients, and elevate relevant conversations to the Director.
    • Develop engaging client materials.
    • Collaborate with the communications team on marketing our work to recruit new clients.
    • Attend industry events, coalitions, quarterly conferences, and training engagements as necessary to recruit new clients and foster new opportunities.
  • Client Care.
    • Provide exceptional client care by consistently shepherding clients through the pipeline, being responsive to client needs and answering inquires in a timely manner.
    • Serve as the "front door" for the organization for people seeking to purchase training from us.
    • Connect clients with the right-sized proposal and/or resources for their needs and budget
  • Client Retention.
    • Support team in identifying training opportunities and strategies to re-engage former clients.
Location: This position is fully remote from anywhere in the US with an optional Brooklyn-based office.

Requirements

Requirements: (Must have 80%)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing or similar
  • Must be able to travel, nationally and internationally
  • 3-5 years client-facing experience
  • 3-5 years in sales or business development
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Quick-thinker: can synthesize a great amount of information into clear takeaways and next steps
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive growth plans
  • Eager to take on challenges with a sense of humor


Benefits

The budgeted compensation for this role is $30 -$40 hourly with a final number based on various factors including proposals, experience, and knowledge set.
