About The Job

We’re looking for a part time recruiter to support and scale our growing company. As a core member of our People & Culture team you will be responsible for bringing the best people into TeePublic, partnering closely with our hiring manager and continuously improving the recruiting process. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is looking to own the entire recruiting function of an organization and put their stamp on it.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process including: sourcing, strategic ad posting, screening + interviewing, talent calibration and offer-to-hire, building strong partnerships with hiring managers along the way.
  • Manage outside recruiting agencies to ensure a seamless process for both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Strategically plan for future hiring needs in partnership with hiring managers and People partners.
  • Develop recruiting analytics strategy, leveraging data to make thoughtful improvements within our process.
  • Provide training resources to hiring managers and interview teams to help them grow into quality interviewers.
  • Improve candidate experience by streamlining systems, processes, and tools to drive efficiencies.
  • Build out programs that help bring in great candidates and hires, such as a referral program.
  • Provide recommendations and talent insights using market knowledge, a strong network, and data to tell a story in the recruiting process.
  • Improve employer brand by attending meetups, posting about company culture and open roles on social media, and finding creative ways to get our name out there.
  • Ahoc People & Culture projects as needed


What you’ll bring:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience recruiting, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Experience designing, building and leading the implementation of foundational recruiting processes and other related initiatives.
  • Experience sourcing, screening, and hiring for both corporate and technical roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with track record of building positive relationships with cross functional teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with driving recruiting initiatives and thinking creatively about various recruiting approaches.
  • Ability to influence and inform the business and partners to understand the talent market and trends
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally Greenhouse.


In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York is $50,000-$60,000 at the time of posting. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
